Brasilian-based automaker Obvio ! is setting the automotive world on it's year with it's uncompromising designs and revolutionary technology offerings. Obvio ! intends to export two models to the US through it's North American exclusive distributor ZAP! - www.zapworld.com.

The 828 and 012 models make their debut at mid-2007. They feature cutting-edge technology including the Tritec engine, ZAP's Eco-Flex E100 ethanol flex-fuel system, ZF Ecotronic Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT), Elliptical Survival Rings and the iMobile Car PC System standard.
Ricardo Machado, President of Obvio ! and mastermind behind the Obvio ! line of vehicles desired to create a lounge-type feel in their vehicles. To do this he turned to Advanced Mobile Technologies and their iMobile systems to allow the user to surf the internet, play their mp3s, DVDs and satellite radio, diagnose and control the vehicle functions, and navigate to any destination all from the centrally located touchscreen. He had the vision by which to build the vehicle interior around the PC as centerpiece as it was the perfect compliment to the plethora of other revolutionary technology he utilizes. |
